preconfigured .Xresources example
Here comes the first preconfigured configuration file.
This .Xresources sets the default mouse theme alsofor the pure X parts, makes xterm look and work like any other terminal emulator and makes look xpdf decent. So there is no need to install lxterminal, sakura etc. - at least in a basic setup. And also no need for evince or atril. As usually, if you have a better option, let's use that!
Cut&paste with xterm works in this way:

clipboard to xterm: copy in gui environment, mouse middle click to insert in xterm

xterm to gui (gtk) application: mark in xterm, paste in gui environment by Ctrl+v (or right click insert)
(I do not remember exactly, but there are 2 clipboards in linux X and xterm uses one, the gui the other. But very likely you know that way better than me ;) ).
