Installation
provide the option to install the system (maybe tweaking a bit refractainstaller)

You wrote on the intro page... "In theory, it should be possible to install the image on a hard disk by using refractainstaller, which is shipped with the live image. However, I HAVE NOT TESTED IT so if you want to try refractainstaller DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK but feel free to drop me a line if it works. "
I thought I would let you know that I have had mixed results in installing in virtualbox. The first release of the minimal iso, released around mid-May, installed fine and I had fun playing with it. The second and most recent releases, from May 23 and May 30, did not install and I received a kernel panic on both amd64 iso files. See file attachment.
Just thought I would let you know, and thanks for you work on devuan-live-minimal!

Thanks Craig. I think I know where is the problem: the initrd. We are currently using a trimmed-down initrd, whose name is configurable in the build system (the current version is called initrd_devuan_micro.img), while refractainstaller is configured to put in place the file "/boot/initrd.img". It was working in the first few versions of devuan-minimal-live because we didn't have the trimmed-down initrd yet.
I will change this as soon as possible, to make the behaviour of the install script compatible with that of the environment.
Thanks!

resolved the problem with initrd. Now refractainstaller works properly so I will close this issue. TNX
