dbus on ascii is out of date, blocking dbus-user-session upgrade
Currently, doing a full-upgrade on ascii fails due to the following:
dbus-user-session depends upon dbus (>= 1.10.16-1)
dbus is currently on 1.10.8-1+devuan1, it looks like there is a Devuan update due with this pull request , although even then that is done dbus will still be 2 point releases out.
Please can dbus be upgraded etc? Since Ben is handling it, doesn't look like it needs me poking around (and potentially breaking stuff).

Hi OmegaPhil, there is a quirk there, and we are working to solve it asap. I have just reported the issue on bugs.devuan.org:
https://bugs.devuan.org/db/95/95.html
Solving this will also solve several deps problems in ascii, since dbus-x11 could be user as a replacement ot dbus-session-user. Stay tuned.

The fact that bugs haven't been migrated over to the new bugtracker is not great, thanks for the ping anyway.

We are working to mirror all the gitlab issues on bugs.devuan.org. In the meanwhile, using bugs.devuan.org to report bugs is to be preferred. Thanks for your help.

Hi OmegaPhil, the newly built dbus packages for ASCII are in experimental. Please help testing them if you can, so that we can solve any related problem and move them to ASCII as soon as possible.
-
Sure - I have one main task to do first, I'll then move to this.
-
I am closing this one since the new version of dbus (1.10.18-1+devuan2.2) is entering ascii. Thanks for the feedback.

I've reached this task now - will start with a VM etc.
-
The VM update seems to be fine - no complaints in syslog or .xsession-errors, I can logout and restart from the DE etc (XFCE4 used).
The update hasn't reached ascii yet (at least not 'auto.mirror.devuan.org/merged ascii').

Thanks for the report. The package should be in the ascii repo in the next few hours.
