@ Jaromil: If you really want notoy then upload it into the devuan-art project for jessie, and I can pull it from there.

I've also got rid of a bunch of cruft and changed d-i so that we only need to create a symlink "boot-screen.png" pointing to the image file instead of trying to figure out where in the config it needs to be changed. This is for both x86 and hurd (x86 configs being used for most other archs as well)
