upgraded from debian jessie with task-cinnamon-desktop to devuan

Can no longer change wifi SSID's - box closes without asking for a key. ~/.xsession-errors complains about the user not being authorized to make changes to the network.

Can no longer disable wifi - it shows slider disabled but network keeps working. ~/.xsession-errors prints something about enabling the network, but not disabling it.
