@hellekin . . . Those themes are outdated. Do you want me to email you the default Clearlooks-Phenix-Purpy theme? Or do you want to search for it in your email. I know that Daniel has the most recent rendition. There probably need to be some changes made to the credits the index.theme. I also have Xfce Gtk3 themes for leafy and maybe icy and rocky. I lost interest in doing more because I wasn't getting any feedback.

Whatever is needed to solve the issue.

Added branch
devuan-purpy
. I don't think I can do anything more. -

Let me attach it here since it contains way more than just GTK-2. Clearlooks-Phenix-purpy.zip
-
BTW it should be named
devuan-purpy
. -
As far as I remember, dropping the whole unzipped archive in
~/.themes
makes XFCE aware of it. Also it requires changes inDesktop background
andWindow Theme
to activate. If this is not installed by default, installing it requires a solid howto.

This is as far as I can go packaging this theme. I have no clue what I'm doing because the Desktop Environment is completely foreign to my computing knowledge.
Also I suppose this package SHOULD have a devuan version and some debian/* tweaked. I couldn't find anything related to fonts in this package except for the mention of a DEFAULT_FONT, but no dependency.

this package is for the installer. for the desktop we're packaging it in https://git.devuan.org/devuan-packages/clearlooks-phenix-purpy-theme
-
maybe I'll steal the gtk2 stuff from https://git.devuan.org/devuan-packages/clearlooks-phenix-purpy-theme for this though.
-
That's what I was thinking might work to get rid of the Clearlooks blue in the installer.

@CenturionDan Remember that in the Clearlooks-Phenix-purpy gtkrc I added some lines to tweak the "xfdesktop-icon-view". They probably should be removed. The gtkrc in rootskel is also an older format than Clearlooks-Phenix so it might not be compatible. Try it, if it fails, I'll translate purpy to the older gtkrc format.
