Wrong version of slim in ascii
These are the versions currently available:
- jessie: 1.3.6-5+devuan3
- ascii: 1.3.6-5+devuan1
So if one upgrades to ascii before installing slim, the old version (with debian themes) is installed.
-
Moved from devuan/devuan-project#69 (closed)
-
Now ascii have 1.3.6-5+devuan3. Isuue may be closed now.
-
I don't think so, even after an
apt update
, it's still the old version on my computer:# apt-cache policy slim slim: Installed: 1.3.6-5+devuan1 Candidate: 1.3.6-5+devuan1 Version table: *** 1.3.6-5+devuan1 500 500 http://auto.mirror.devuan.org/merged ascii/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
That's also what I find when I grep into http://auto.mirror.devuan.org/merged/dists/ascii/main/binary-amd64/Packages
-
Right, you have 500 http://auto.mirror.devuan.org/ with pinning priority as 500 instead of 100.
My both jessie & ascii have now,
slim: Installed: 1.3.6-5+devuan3 Candidate: 1.3.6-5+devuan3 Version table: *** 1.3.6-5+devuan3 100 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.3.6-5+devuan1 500 500 http://auto.mirror.devuan.org/merged ascii/main amd64 Packages
Please correct /etc/apt/preferences file or remove it.
