add oss support to vlc
While there are packets to install oss4, the vlc package seems to be built without oss support. Was that just an oversight or is there a rational behind that?
(I believe it to be built without support because I foundremoveplugins += ossin thedebian/rulesfile in the source package of vlc)

Good idea to put back oss, but then we need to fork the vlc package.
This is low priority for now, however it can happen if someone else volunteers. Do you intend to be the maintainer?

That depends on what kind of responsibility I'll take on when I agree to that. Maybe you have a document somewhere explaining the in and outs of being a maintainer?
