Hello people, a few days ago I run across this annoyance on slim, that it won't authenticate a user with a password longer than 49 characters (if I counted them right). I tried so many times, I eventually had to login to the console and set a shorter password. I think I'm going to switch to WDM, but I thought this bug to be worth pointing out as it affects the default Desktop Manager Devuan installs. I also don't like slim because it offers no way to set a different keyboard, and this was too an annoyance when I only had available an Italian USB keyboard on a laptop equipped with a Norwegian keyboard (which was used on installation), but I'd classify this bug as a UI one or as a wish-list item.
