Testing/ascii will not install due to rsyslog dependencies
Installing in Virtualbox (host is Linux Ubuntu 14.04), non-graphical Expert install with squid proxy enabled for downloads
Install media: Using devuan_jessie_1.0.0-beta_amd64_DVD.iso from torrent, dated Aug 27 2016
From tty4 Error: rsyslog depends on libjson-c2 >= 0.10 however package libjson-c2 is not installed Also depends on liblognorm2

Ran into this error attempting a debootstrap install into a VM today.
Failure was due to it not being able to resolve packages for libjson-c2 and liblognorm.
Worked around by adding syslog-ng to include list, but this is probably not the desired resolution.

This is a known issue. Either upgrade to rsyslog from backports or use syslog-ng or busybox-syslogd.
