0021 Updates: From Eagle to KiCad
Contemplating article updates to the KiCad communication:

When it's ready, mention @wpwrak 's conversion tool (Joerg wrote a paragraph somewhere about it some time ago)

Article updates are good for SEO, as they reinforce a thematic content and bring more traffic to an existing page rather than dissolving attention among many pages covering the same topic.

Updates may be good for SEO, but don't map nicely to the "newsletter" concept. Of course, if you just want to fix some typo or update a link, that would be good practice, and doesn't need anything else.
But if we want to convey more substantial information through updates, I think they should - possibly in addition to updating any old articles - go to new newsletters. Also makes newsletter more diverse, provides an opportunity for backlinks (the SEO department should like that :), and you don't have to go hunting for material to add at the last moment, when you realize the whole thing looks kinda empty.
