green light on raspberry pi 3 does not flash when using rpi3 img
The rpi3 img version of Devuan for the raspberry pi 3 now works on my machine, but the green light on the board does not flash to show disk access. It blinks once briefly during boot and then never lights again. It is not essential, but the flashing green light does let you know that the device is doing something. It does flash when I use the raspbian operating system.
Since I cannot attribute this problem to a particular package, I do not know how to use the bug reporting system for this minor problem.

Have you downloaded the latest image uploaded yesterday? There was a firmware bug that disabled USB and ethernet and didn't allow it to proceed booting. It might have been a faulty device tree.
Can you please try the image found here and report back? https://files.devuan.org/devuan_jessie/embedded/

Your were right. I tried the newer development version that you sent and now the green light on the board flashes like it should.
Another note - I had installed Exagear Desktop, an X86 emulator for ARM, on the RC candidate version, and it did not work correctly. I had blamed the software, but I tried it on this new version, and it is running fine now.
Thank you.
