Is this issue still actual? It seems to me we have done the work recently.

Dan took care of the boot screen a while ago. At least it's fixed here. And we worked out the changes in slim so yes, I think this work is done. Whether it's been integrated into the iso is another matter. Is the installer greeter screen now purpy instead of Vulcan red?
